The Bookshelf is Full.

Two  acquisitions this week that won’t fit on an already crammed bookshelf – the all-new, wholesome cookbook by Sprouted Kitchen (Her recipes are easy to follow, healthy and tasty, in fact I’m baking these for breakfast tomorrow) and a classic heavyweight (literally), Martha Stewart’s Cooking School to pick up new skills and techniques from the doyenne of domesticity herself.

I also noticed that there has been a series of food bloggers coming out with books – Smitten Kitchen, Spoon Fork Bacon, Cannelle et Vanille and La Tartine Gourmande to name a few.  Just curious – are there any that you will be adding to your reading list?

I’ve been trying to buy the digital versions of my recipe books to save space. Especially when the books are heavy but there are pros and cons of digital :(
I was thinking of getting Smitten Kitchen because I’m a fan but there are many recipes on the blog which I’ve not even tried half of it so I’ll hold off for awhile. Love spoon fork bacon and have bookmarked quite a few of the recipes. Thanks for introducing Sprouted Kitchen. Adding that to my reads!

You’re welcome! Sprouted Kitchen is a recent favorite because her recipes aren’t that complicated and turn out well so you can actually enjoy the cooking process. I downloaded some cookbooks to my Kindle but agree it’s just not the same especially when it comes to the photographs and just holding/flipping the pages of a solid cookbook in your hands. Smitten Kitchen’s on my list too but I’ll wait to see what recipes it has cuz I’m the same too – haven’t tried out alot of her recipes!
